Shubna Harilal low resT-Systems South Africa has been awarded the Southern Africa Industry Impact Award by SAP for its innovative healthcare template solution at the recent SAP Partner Awards, an event honouring SAP’s most valued partners. With this award, SAP acknowledges Platinum Partner, T-Systems, for its expertise and capability in the healthcare field.

“We are honoured by this accolade from SAP, which recognises our fast, purposeful adoption of new technologies to positively impact the Southern African healthcare vertical. We are proud to receive SAP’s stamp of approval as one of the forerunners of HANA implementations,” says Shubna Harilal (pictured), Head of SAP Delivery Unit  at T-Systems South Africa.

The healthcare template, which became the first localised healthcare solution to be certified on SAP HANA late last year, offers a real-time, end-to-end solution specifically designed to optimise and streamline hospital processes in South Africa. It is easy to use and quick to deploy, providing an enhanced user experience for healthcare professionals and patients alike. T-Systems’ scalable price per bed commercial model allows hospitals and healthcare providers to roll out a top end solution cost effectively, making it accessible and affordable.

“Our revamped business model has effectively removed some of the key barriers to extending our solution to all healthcare institutions across South Africa, such as affordability and long deployment times,” continues Harilal. “We are now able to extend our reach into new, heretofore untouched markets, which is a key factor in SAP bestowing this accolade upon us.”

T-Systems also received recognition for their healthcare solution from third parties such as growth partnership company, Frost & Sullivan, who awarded T-Systems the 2015 South African Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value and Leadership last year. This award was based on T-Systems’ superior price/performance value and customer service that provides a competitive edge in terms of providing solutions in the healthcare industry.
