MAGHAMMERS have been sold in South Africa and worldwide for decades to alleviate blockages and material hang-ups in industrial vessels of all kinds.

That’s according to Maghammers SA ambassador Gill Patterson-Roberts, who said companies currently using Maghammers include Natal Portland Cement, Arcelor Mittal, Illovo Sugar, Mondi and Richards Bay Coal Terminals.

Since the product runs through a controller with a 220VAC supply, with no water or air requirements, and no regular maintenance needs, it works for longer, at less cost, and doesn’t require human supervision to make sure it’s working. However, it can also be interfaced with any control system, for remote monitoring and operation.

Materials managed with the professional assistance of Maghammers include gypsum, cement, carbonates, ores, sugar, coal, coke and coal fines, alumina, arsenic, fertilisers, dry paint, wood pulp and lime.

“In EX areas, Maghammers will also work safely and reliably, leaving the other experts to do their own jobs. Up to 10 Maghammers can be operated individually through one controller, making them efficient and consistent, and the high-quality Japanese design of the units ensure dependability,” said Patterson-Roberts.

“It’s really worthwhile looking into Maghammers as a solution to everyday materials handling problems like bridging and caking. They do the job better than anything else on the market, and your staff will thank you. They’ll be free to do something more productive with their time, too.

“Maghammers also maintain their composure in high temperature conditions. They are cool under pressure, and keep a level head in all altitudes, doing the job better in every situation and making life simpler for everyone.”
