CELEBRATING more than a decade of sharing their knowledge and service expertise in the hydraulic, pneumatic industry in the Zululand area, Dean Trent and Marius Sevenster – founders of Fluid Power Automation – have announced the opening of their second ParkerStore in the province, in Pinetown, Durban.
The ParkerStore brand is owned by Parker Hannifin Corporation and through this chain of stores offers a local source for hydraulic and pneumatic products. ParkerStore Durban is the 16th ParkerStore in South Africa and one of over 2300 Parker Hannifin distributors worldwide.
The other ParkerStore in the province is in Richards Bay, which was the 11th for South Africa.
According to a statement from the company, ParkerStore defines industrial retail as an environment that allows for the immediate and direct sale of industrial products through an approved, service-based platform.
“From the outset, Dean Trent and Marius Sevenster realised that superior service in the machine automation and integration sector had to be an essential component for their business to succeed,” the company said.
